About this course

The BA (Hons) Visual Art course is a broad-based interdisciplinary visual art course that aims to equip you with the technical, reflective, and entrepreneurial skills to develop your creative voice and progress into economically sustainable creative careers.

With its interdisciplinary content this programme could open a range of exciting career opportunities including as practising artists, illustrators, exhibition/event’s organisers, arts administrators, art consultants, designers, and teachers. Importantly, it aims to develop graduates who are both creative problem solvers and socially aware, people who can positively contribute to the cultural regeneration of the local area.

Whist this is a full-time course, typically this course generally only requires one-two days on campus attendance, supported by self-directed study. This means you can continue to work alongside your studies and balance other commitments. This programme is not open to students requiring a Student visa to study in the UK.
