    PROGRAMME STRUCTURE You will take four core and two optional courses and undertake a supervised research dissertation on an issue relevant to your area of interest.

    Core courses Classroom Processes in TESOL: introduction to teaching and learning Descriptions Of Language And Applications To The Classroom Developing Professional Practice in TESOL Introduction To Educational And Social Research Major Dissertation (TESOL)

    TESOL optional courses Contemporary Issues in TESOL Language Learning for Children with English as an Additional Language Language Proficiency, Assessment And Feedback TESOL Curriculum Teaching English as an International Language Teaching English for Academic Purposes Which English? Language Teaching And Sociolinguistics

    Other optional courses from the School of Education may include Advanced Educational Research Developing Literacies: An Inclusive Perspective Highly Able Learners, Raising Attainment & Achievement Identities, Relationships and Behaviours in Education Modern Educational Thought
