Technology and Artificial Intelligence Law

University of Bradford
Postgraduate LLM Full-time 15 Months LawPolicing

About this course

LLM Technology and Artificial Intelligence Law gives you specialist knowledge of the law regulating technology. The programme covers a range of themes, including:

  • privacy laws relating to technology

  • data protection

  • legal technologies

  • human rights and technology

  • regulation of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity

You will learn about the use of technology to address current and emerging global challenges such as climate change, pandemics, sustainability, and digital inclusion and the role of law in facilitating and guiding that use, while ensuring society is protected from potential harm caused by the more radical and disruptive technologies.

The programme is suitable for law graduates with an interest in technology law - an emerging and increasingly important area of legal practice, and also for non-law graduates who seek corporate employment with a focus on the regulation of technology.

The programme offers flexible delivery, which includes face-to-face delivery on the Bradford campus, or distance learning. Full-time and part-time options are offered for both types of programme.
