This course will be delivered in-line with the values embedded in CollectiveEd: The Centre for Coaching, Mentoring & Professional Learning. The Centre is located at our university and aims to expand the knowledge base on coaching, mentoring and collaborative professional development.”
Teaching and learning Assessments will be practice-based with the option to take synoptic assessments across modules to ease your workload. Your study will provide opportunities for personalised learning. You’ll gain expertise in at least two areas of ELT and you’ll have the opportunity to develop your teacher agency and identity.

This qualification will set you up for teaching in a wide range of countries, for example: • A master’s qualification in this subject is required in the Far East and Middle East • Vietnam has a five-year plan to increase its English language capacity • South America has an ongoing programme to develop bilingual teachers You will have the opportunity to become a part of the strong teaching and research networks we have with professional bodies for teachers of English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). This will increase your employability and networks in the practitioner community where you can find support and advice for your career development.
