This course is ideal for anyone who works supporting children in social, family, voluntary, charitable or youth services. It focuses on the skills and underpinning knowledge required in the children and families’ workforce. The topics are relevant to the implementation of governmental legislation, policies and strategies, including learning and social development, communication skills, team working strategies, interventions and health and welfare issues in the field of children’s services
It will expand the understandings you have developed through your practice and previous experiences and develop academic skills that enable you to carry out your role more effectively.
