Why Sports Performance? Our Sports Performance degree enables you to apply core sciences, new technologies, and training principles to competitive sport. The course is developing the Sports Performance scientists of the future by equipping graduates with skills and competencies needed to operate in the complex and demanding elite sport environment.

You’ll be taught by world leading experts in their fields and benefit from our links with national and international sports teams, governing bodies, data analytics and sports technology companies. Our placement programme will offer a vast selection of opportunities, from supporting academy and county-level clubs, GB teams and other international elite performers. You’ll also have the chance to achieve qualifications with various national governing bodies alongside your degree, allowing you to graduate well-equipped for an exciting career in sports performance and coaching.
