Gain the clinical knowledge and professional skills to assess, treat and manage sports injuries as a sports therapist on this sports and exercise therapy course.

As part of this sport and exercise therapy degree, you'll:

  • Study a variety of sports science and therapeutic modules

  • Be able to register as a student member of The Society of Sports Therapists in your first year

  • Complete supervised placements to build up the working hours you’ll need to enable you to register as a sports therapist

  • Apply your theoretical knowledge in our rehabilitation science labs as you develop practical skills in sports massage and assessing and treating athletes

    Placements You’ll complete the hours you need to register as a sports therapist through supervised practical placements. Placements can be in a range of settings that include local amateur and professional sporting environments. You’ll also be able to gain practical experience through volunteering activities at local and national sporting events.
