About this course

You will develop an understanding of the business of sport. Through understanding both the global perspectives and also examining the sport industry in the UK. An appreciation of key business concepts and theories will be used to review modern sport business and best practice in sports management at both a local and executive level. Emphasis is placed on exploring leadership and management of sport events, while also developing strategic skills to assess the sport business landscape. A student’s entrepreneurial ability is emphasised ensuring that a Sports Management graduate from University of Hertfordshire has a balanced portfolio of knowledge and abilities to enhance their employability.
