Our MSc Speech and Language Therapy (Pre-registration) course will prepare you for a successful career in the continually evolving health and social care sector.From day one your learning will link theoretical knowledge with professional practice, so by the time you graduate you’ll be equipped with the skills you need to pursue a successful career in speech and language therapy, where your work will transform lives. Working in our purpose-built rehabilitation and assessment facilities on campus, you’ll benefit from small class sizes. Your tutors will be on hand to offer you all the support you need throughout the course. As you progress you’ll undertake several work placements, giving you vital experience and employable skills. By Year 2 you’ll have identified the career path you’d like to follow and undertake a full-time work placement in a relevant area of the health and social care sector. We have strong links with speech and language therapists working throughout the NHS, in private practice across the North West, charitable organisations, and international institutions. So you’ll get opportunities to gain experience of the full breadth of modern practice. This course is accredited by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) We have strong links with clinical partners across the North West, in both NHS and non-NHS settings. You’ll have lots of opportunities to gain valuable work experience
