About this course
The SEMH (MEd) module is led by Sarah Norris, a senior educational psychologist who has worked extensively with schools and young people with SEND. With 3 cohorts a year in January, May & September you can choose a start date that suits you. You will have up to 12 months to complete the module via our online learning platform Campus Online. If you are considering taking your studies further this module will provide you with 30 credits toward a PGcert, PGDip or MEd on our SEND and Inclusion Programme or our Inclusive Educational Leadership Programme.You will develop your understanding of social, emotional and mental health needs Bring your practice right up-to-date Enhance your professional development as a reflective, research-led practitioner. Understand the skills that you need to use to make a positive difference to your setting – and practise them in your setting too. Develop the essential knowledge of the latest policies, theories and research. Acquire the ability to critique knowledge and existing practice seamlessly.
