About this course
This Top up degree course aims to recruit students who have a desire to work with young people, adults or families in a range of different professional environments and organisations. It aims to provide opportunities for students to identify and evaluate key concepts in understanding human and social needs, explore core social policy issues and critically evaluate professional, cultural and ethical aspects of research and leadership.
At Level 6 the modules studied will have a grounding in practical work-based settings despite learning a little more towards academic themes.

Entry Requirements
You must have achieved a foundation degree (or equivalent) in a related subject. You are also required to have GCSE passes at grade 4 (C) or equivalent in English and maths.

These could include family support and outreach work, support workers, youth justice and probation services, sport and community projects, prison service, a range of voluntary or charity services or local authority.
