This Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) prepares you to become a secondary school teacher of science, specialising in chemistry. You will focus on addressing the needs of pupils aged 11-19 and beyond.

While you are with us, you will enhance your teaching abilities, gaining the proficiency to cater to the educational requirements of secondary school students in Key Stages 3 and 4. Simultaneously, you will expand your knowledge, hands-on experience, and theoretical comprehension of the field of science. Upon completion of the program, you will undergo a formal evaluation against the Teachers' Standards, earning Qualified Teacher Status* in conjunction with your PGCE qualification.
