Research Education

The MRes Education is especially suited for graduates from Education, Social Policy, Health and Social Care, Sociology, and other Social Sciences disciplines. It is also well suited for professionals who work with learners of any age, in settings such as children’s centres, nurseries, schools, colleges, universities and hospitals. Plus, graduates from other disciplines who want to develop advanced social research skills, and those wishing to develop a career in education research.

Throughout you will develop your ability as an advanced researcher, gaining hands on experience in both qualitative and quantitative approaches. You will be supported to develop and apply your skills as a critical thinker and also gain experience of tailoring your dissemination from your research findings.

The MRes Education will advance your intellectual and practical research abilities and will help you to develop the skills and experiences that are in high demand in many fields of employment.
