About this course

The foundation year of this Coventry University degree will be delivered from our CU Coventry campus. Course delivery from year 1 of the degree onwards will be from Coventry University campus.

This course aims to provide you with a solid grounding for a career in renewable energy.

The foundation year will introduce you to the world of business with a sharp focus on aspects of management, business communications and marketing in a global context. The foundation year creates opportunities for students to develop key business skills and to put theory, both traditional and contemporary, into practice with real-world scenarios. Students who successfully complete their foundation year will then progress onto the Renewable Energy BSc (Hons) degree within Coventry University’s School of Energy, Construction and Environment.

The degree explores a range of social, economic and environmental issues with a range of skills and approaches.

Introducing students to the management of energy system transitions, degree learning is centred around renewable energy production, how rapid technological advancements are changing the way that renewable energy is being generated and supplied, and the social and environmental impacts of these processes.
