About this course

Our HNC Quantity Surveying (HTQ) course is developed to provide a broad introduction to construction and different quantity surveying functions, with an emphasis on developing and strengthening core skills while preparing students for specialist subjects at Level 5 or to enter employment with the qualities necessary for job roles that require some personal responsibility.

Students will gain a wide range of construction knowledge linked to practical skills gained through research, independent study, directed study and workplace scenarios.

The course is delivered by lecturers with industry experience, with industry-standard facilities, including a wide range of levelling and surveying equipment and professional software packages such as AutoCAD.

Upon successful completion of the HNC, you can progress onto the HND Quantity Surveying programme.

The course is designed to help build your transferable skills, to enable you to take advantage of the increasing number of construction industry roles currently available, for example, Construction Quantity Surveying Technician.
