Psychology with Counselling (with Placement Year)

The BSc Psychology with Counselling degree at St. Mary’s provides an in-depth understanding of psychological principles and counselling practices. This course integrates the scientific study of human behaviour with theoretical knowledge of counselling, preparing you for a range of careers in psychology and mental health services. The BSc Psychology with Counselling programme will be accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS). Graduation through the accredited route means you will be eligible for the Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership with the BPS. This accreditation is essential for those wishing to pursue further professional training in psychology.

About the Placement Year A placement year enables you to undertake a year of experience in an organisation between your second and final year.

It will enable you to:
