OVERVIEW

Are you ready to step into the world of creativity and innovation? Working within our state-of-the-art prosthetics studios alongside specialists within the field, you will have the opportunity to learn the practical skills required for character and creature prosthetics using traditional sculpting and moulding techniques and the latest 3D digital technologies to achieve sustainable and creative solutions. It is designed for students who are passionate about the entertainment industry, equipping them with a diverse skill set to excel in prosthetics design and the creation of intricate prosthetics, props and models used in film, television, theatre, events and other creative ventures.

This creative course introduces key concepts and the theoretical underpinning associated with prosthetics design, construction, application and building a professional portfolio. You will work with industry standard prosthetic materials, techniques and digital software such as Photoshop, ZBrush and 3D rendering technologies, all while developing an in-depth understanding of entrepreneurship and business strategies to succeed. Throughout the programme, there is emphasis on portfolio development tailored towards a chosen area of specialism to ensure that you are fully prepared to enter the industry and stand out amongst others.
