About this course This course aims to prepare you for professional employment as a creative, innovative and strategic problem solver through industry, community and research-led briefs. It is ideally suited to progressing product design undergraduates and for those who are considering a change of direction within art, design and technology-based disciplines.

  • Explore emerging technologies and learn how technology can be embedded into your designs, while considering their impact according to sustainability principles and standards.

  • Learn to empathise with diverse humans and cultures, designing for user experiences that address physical, cognitive, and emotional needs.

  • Understand key principles of sustainable design and ecology, including systemic thinking, circular design, biophilic design, and biomimetics.

    **Collaborations Endorsement: Royal Society for Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA)** Coventry University and the RSA have collaborated on a module concerning social and ethical responsibility. You will be entitled to a 12-month fellowship of the RSA so you can access all RSA resources and platforms during your period of study. Once you have successfully passed the Professional Practice and Innovation module, you will receive an RSA digital credential.
