About this course
You’ll put theory into practice in our award-winning facilities and learn the very latest patient care from industry experts who’ve treated everyone from elite athletes to NHS patients and collaborated with the sector’s most prestigious sporting bodies.
On graduation, you’ll be able to apply for membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and register with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) to kick-start your career as a health professional.
Why study at Hull?
• Hands-on learning: Combine theory with hands-on experience, including 1000-hours of clinical placements. • State-of-the-art facilities: Learn in modern, fully equipped sports rehabilitation suites, laboratories and the simulated hospital ward and practice rooms of our award-winning Allam Medical Building. • Get paid £5,000 a year: Students on this course will receive at least £5,000 per year to support their studies. This is on top of your student loan and doesn’t need to be paid back.
Where could this take me?
This course helps to meet a critical shortage of physiotherapists in local healthcare, so your career prospects as an NHS physiotherapist couldn’t be better. You’ll graduate as a qualified physiotherapist, ready to register with the HCPC. You could also explore many alternative roles in a clinical or sports and performance setting. You’ll have the option to tailor your course to the route that suits you.
