Apply theory to practice: The BA (Hons) Physical Education (Primary Years) degree allows you to apply theory to practice by working with children in a variety of contexts.

Throughout this degree programme you will deliver sessions in schools, organise festivals and learn alongside primary teachers in one of our partnership schools.

The need for high quality PE in primary schools is ever increasing. This has been acknowledged by the Government and reflected in the recent doubling of the Sports Premium (funding designated to enhancing quality and provision of PE).

By studying this course, you will be introduced to the primary national curriculum and to developmentally appropriate activities and approaches to teaching. Upon completion of your course, you will have a thorough understanding of what makes good teaching and good progress.
