Performing Arts (Acting)

This full time, one year course is designed to provide you with the knowledge and skills to progress further within the Performing Arts Industry.

Working with a range of industry professionals and experienced practitioners you will attend practical classes, developing technical skills through rehearsal and being assessed on final workshop or public performances.

Vital theoretical and industry understanding will be underpinned through blended learning sessions taught by experienced Lecturers at Coventry College. You will receive academic and pastoral support throughout the programme, which will be tailored to meet your individual needs.

Your HNC in Acting will allow you to develop a high standard of practical technique and performance skills. Key academic knowledge will be developed throughout the year to support a lifelong career within the arts.

How will we support your progression? Through a series of initial 1:1 tutorials we will ascertain your preferred destination following your HNC. We will then support and guide you through the application, preparation, interview and funding stages that follow. Our lecturers have a wealth of experience when it comes to ensuring our learns are supporting to progress to the very highest level in their chosen industry.
