Pearson BTEC Level 5 HND in Performing Arts

The Performing Arts HND has three different pathways you can choose from:

Performing Arts (Acting) The HND in Performing Arts is an extension to the HNC qualification offered here. As you progress onto level 5 you will be equipped with skills and opportunities to further develop your skills as a professional practitioner. As you continue developing your performance skills in areas such as; physicality, voice, accents etc, you will also take a more in depth focus into your chosen specialism and undertake large scale projects around this. You will also gain first hand experiences in areas beyond performance such as; creative education, professional auditions, marketing, direction, performing arts business and many more.

Performing Arts (Dance) The HND in Dance is an extension to the HNC qualification offered here. As you progress onto level 5 you will be equipped with skills and opportunities to further develop your skills as a professional practitioner. As you continue developing your performance skills in areas such as technique and choreography etc. You will also take a more in depth focus into your chosen specialism and undertake large scale projects around this. You will also gain first hand experiences in areas beyond performance such as; creative education, professional auditions, marketing, performing arts business and many more.

Performing Arts (Musical Theatre) The HND in Musical Theatre is an extension to the HNC qualification offered here. As you progress onto level 5 you will be equipped with skills and opportunities to further develop your skills as a professional practitioner. As you continue developing your performance skills in areas such as vocal technique, dance technique,acting and choreography etc. You will also take a more in depth focus into your chosen specialism and undertake large scale projects around this. You will also gain first hand experiences in areas beyond performance such as; creative education, professional auditions, marketing, performing arts business and many more.
