On your three-year Neuroscience degree you will discover the processes behind neurological disorders and study the wider aspects of physiology, pharmacology and the immune system, graduating primed to start your career.*
Based in our multi-million pound, state-of-the-art Life Sciences building, you will explore the vital role neuroscience plays in the prevention of neurodegenerative conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease and delve into one of science’s greatest challenges - the human nervous system.
You will have the flexibility to tailor your degree through our extensive range of modules, have the opportunity to spend a year in the pharmaceutical industry, between years two and three, and an opportunity to spend a semester at a partner university during year two.
This course will also lead to a range of careers in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, research fields. and clinical science.
*99% of Biological Sciences graduates were in employment or further study 15 months after graduation (Graduate Outcomes 2020/2021).
