You’ll explore case studies and evidence-based interventions. Study the latest thinking on the nature of mental health. Evaluate papers, theories, findings and methods used in clinical psychology, psychiatry and other mental health-related disciplines. Our research has wide links to local organisations, public representatives, charities, clinicians and industry. Students’ research projects have covered a range of areas including experiences of seeking therapy for eating disorders, burnout and compassion-fatigue in health workers and changes in autobiographical memory related to symptoms of depression and/or anxiety disorders.
