About this course

Take the first step on your career in Midwifery, promoting and maintaining the health of pregnant individuals. As a qualified midwife you will provide care and support throughout pregnancy, helping to ensure a healthy outcome for both mother and baby. Our course is to be validated by the Nursing and Midwifery Council*. This means that when you graduate you can apply for registration to practice as a Midwife.

Develop your practice within a woman-centred approach, empowering women to actively participate in decisions about their health and birthing process. You'll consider wider emotional, social, spiritual and cultural factors, going beyond the physical aspects of pregnancy and childbirth, in order to provide highly skilled holistic care. Through service user involvement and learning alongside other healthcare students, we encourage you to take a collaborative approach to patient care.

Study in our state of the art, industry standard facilities, on a course which emphasises practical learning. You'll enhance your employability through training that combines knowledge, skills and evidence with practical simulations and clinical placements.
