About this course
Why study at Hull?
• Fantastic facilities: We’ve invested £28 million into our health campus. The award-winning Allam Medical building houses a suite of impressive learning areas including simulated birthing units, neo-natal wards and more. • Get paid £5,000 a year: Apply for at least £5k a year, depending on your personal circumstances, through the NHS Learning Support Fund. This is a yearly payment that you won’t have to pay back. • Accredited qualifications: The course is Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) accredited, so when you graduate, you’ll be eligible to register as a qualified midwife.
Where could this take me?
Midwifery is a vocational degree with most of our graduates going on to work as midwives after graduation.
Our midwifery degree has a 100% employability rate – so the job prospects couldn’t be better – with graduates starting careers in the NHS as well as in private practice. Some even take their qualifications abroad to work as midwives overseas.
