About this course
Course OverviewDevelop advanced skills and techniques during 300+ hours of practical classes. This course has been designed to meet the needs of industry employers. Engage in interprofessional learning with other healthcare undergraduates. In your final year you’ll undertake an extended research project which will allow you to apply your knowledge and practical skills to an in-depth study. Opportunities to engage in patient public engagement through our Comensus patient group. You'll have access to state-of-the-art biotechnology equipment in our laboratories including microscopes, cell culture, sequencing and molecular biology facilities.
Our BSc Microbiology degree will equip you with a sound scientific grounding in microbiology and its applications in areas including biotechnology, environmental research, food security and human health.
