You will: Get involved in the day-to-day operations of a professional production facility, gaining skills that go beyond the lecture theatre. Utilise our advanced media and TV studios to create content for various markets and platforms. Our Television studio features 4k and high-definition cameras, modern editing equipment, and a post-production studio with live streaming capabilities. Obtain a wide range of skills and master numerous technologies and techniques in media to enhance your portfolio and prepare you for various media roles. Collaborate with local businesses and partners such as NHS Wales, Wales Rugby League, Clwyd Theatre Cymru and Focus Wales - a leading festival which sees the recording of artists from across the globe.

Key Course Features: Based in our Centre for the Creative Industries building, you will work across a range of creative disciplines using the latest in television production technology. Our IT facilities form a core part of course delivery, from editing software such as Avid, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut, and Premiere, to colour correction, compositing, and 3D packages, allowing you to broaden your skills and abilities. You will become part of our student community, leading the Media Production YouTube channel sessions, which feature a mixture of live sessions with high profile individuals as well as local bands and performers. You will gain both theoretical and practical knowledge across all stages of production, from planning to editing.
