About this course

Our BA (Hons) Media Production degree is designed to develop your skills and understanding of creative industries. You will be challenged to create content for film, television, social media and corporate media, whilst developing skills in lighting, audio, post-production and photography.

You will develop a thorough knowledge of the various practices and structures that have developed across a range of countries and cultures. You will learn about the interconnectedness of media texts and contexts, the evolution of different genres, aesthetic traditions and forms and how media and communication can be understood in relation to technological change.

Our flexible study programme, involving workshop and project-based study, will help you develop into a professional who is ready to enter industry. We have strong links with industry and as a student you will benefit from guest lectures and workshops from a range of local media companies including Happy Hour Productions and Offspring Films.
