About this course

As the function which represents the organisation’s customers, marketing makes a vital contribution to business success. If you are interested in developing your marketing knowledge and skills in order to pursue a career as a marketing professional, then this two-year full-time programme may be for you.

A key feature of this programme is the emphasis on improving employability skills and in first year, you will complete a module on Personal and Professional Development to support career planning. In second year, there is a compulsory extended period of work placement as part of the Work Based Learning module when you will complete a live marketing project.

Graduates who achieve their Foundation Degree and who want to complete the Foundation Certificate in Professional & Digital Marketing, are entitled to claim an exemption from ONE module. Graduates who achieve their Foundation Degree and who want to complete the Certificate in Professional & Digital Marketing, are entitled to claim an exemption from TWO modules. CIM qualifications are globally recognised and highly valued by employers, so this represents a very appealing enhancement to each graduate’s personal profile.
