About this course
A key feature of this programme is the emphasis on improving employability skills and in first year, you will complete a module on Personal and Professional Development to support career planning. In second year, there is a compulsory extended period of work placement as part of the Work Based Learning module when you will complete a live marketing project.

The FdSc Marketing at Belfast Met is a Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) accredited degree, so in addition to the achievement of a FdSc qualification validated by Ulster University, eligible graduates are entitled to exemptions offered by CIM.
Graduates who achieve their Foundation Degree and who want to complete the Foundation Certificate in Professional & Digital Marketing, are entitled to claim an exemption from ONE module. Graduates who achieve their Foundation Degree and who want to complete the Certificate in Professional & Digital Marketing, are entitled to claim an exemption from TWO modules. CIM qualifications are globally recognised and highly valued by employers, so this represents a very appealing enhancement to each graduate’s personal profile.
