This course will introduce you to key aspects of regulatory framework and provides a focused approach to compliance. You will explore the nature of regulation and its relationship with law, economics and politics; the regulation of risk; standard setting, compliance and enforcement strategies; the issues of accountability and legitimacy; the rise of multi-level governance and transnational regulation; corporate responses to regulation, compliance and ethics; and whistleblowing.
