Law (with Foundation Year) LLB

This is a four-year programme that includes a year of foundational study and leads directly into the degree course. Our foundation year offers the chance to strengthen your skills, knowledge and confidence, before you advance to stage one of your honours degree.

Our LLB Law degree provides the foundational legal knowledge, recommended by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) and the Bar Standards Board (BSB), essential for a career in law and prepares you for the next stages in your legal training if you aspire to become a solicitor or barrister.

With a detailed understanding of the framework and application of legal rules and innovative opportunities, we will equip you with practical and professional transferable skills through mooting, client interviewing, role plays and law clinic activities.

You will put legal theory into practice in our purpose-built mock courtroom and be supported to enhance your skills in collaboration, effective communication, legal research, and public speaking. Gain valuable practical experience through undertaking a compulsory work placement module and embedded digital internships.
