About this course

Combining law and business opens up many career opportunities outside of the legal profession, such as corporate law, entrepreneurship or consulting where legal expertise and business insight are highly valued.

On our Law with Business degree you’ll explore legal theory and gain practical legal skills, but from a business perspective.

At Brighton Law School we focus on practice-led learning to ensure that you’re prepared for the workplace. You’ll gain practical skills such as negotiation, client interviewing and mooting, plus transferable skills such as public speaking, that will make you an attractive candidate for a range of professions.

In your final year, you can also gain work experience in our pro bono legal clinic.

This course is one of three LLB pathways offered by Brighton Law School, alongside Law LLB(Hons) and Law with Criminology LLB(Hons).

    Don’t meet these entry requirements? The University of Brighton Law LLB (Hons) with integrated foundation year provides an extra year of study at foundation level for students who do not hold the academic qualifications or experience required for entry to this course. Successful completion of the foundation year enables you to progress onto year 1 of this degree.
