About this course
This interdisciplinary programme introduces students to the cultures and societies of Africa, Asia and the Middle East through their languages, literatures and screen culture, providing an understanding of the interconnectedness of these regions in an increasingly globalised world. Students will choose to specialise in one particular region through their languages and module choices, with an optional Year Abroad at one of our partner universities. Alongside, students will study Law, specialising in the laws of Africa and Asia, in SOAS’ high-ranking department (ranked 19 in the UK for Law, QS World University Rankings 2020).
