About the course
This Level 5 HND top-up course is intended for those applicants who have already obtained (or expect to achieve) a full Level 4 in this subject. (such as a Higher National Certificate, Certificate of Higher Education - CertHE - or the first year of a Foundation Degree or full Bachelor's degree). Whether you are comparatively new to travel and tourism or have relevant previous experience and want to widen your horizons, this highly-regarded qualification could enhance your future career prospects.
HND modules include:
-Research Project -Strategic Planning for Air Transport -Tourist Resort Management -Special Interest Tourism -Managing and Running a Small Business -Cruise Management -Tourism Consumer Behaviour and Insights
Assessment
Assignments (including timed assessments – some under examination conditions), individual and group presentations, discussions, academic posters, displays, leaflets, recorded interviews/role plays, reflective journals and work-based projects.
New City Hub campus
The Travel and Tourism department is based at the college's new £58 million City Hub campus, near Nottingham train station. The campus features state of the art teaching and learning facilities, science laboratories, aviation training cabin, with a restaurant, cafe and performing arts venue.
Bursaries
