About this course
What previous qualifications or experience do I need? Minimum of 64 UCAS points (160 old system) from one or the combination of the following: • A minimum of three ‘A-Level’, one in a related subject (96 UCAS Points - CCC) • A relevant Pearson/Edexcel BTEC Extended Diploma (48 UCAS Point – PPP) or National Diploma – (32 UCAS Points – PP) • Level 3 T Level Qualification in Health and Social care or a relevant / related subject (96 UCAS Points – Pass [A*-C]. • An International Baccalaureate Diploma (28 points) • An equivalent overseas qualification together with a proven ability in spoken and written English (IELTS 6.5 overall - an overall score of 6.0 is required for all the sub-skills elements, with a minimum score of 6.0 or above for the writing element). • A recognised and relevant Foundation/Access to Higher Education course in Health and Social care or a relevant / related subject. • NVQ Level 3 with relevant workplace experience of at least 2 years. • Mature students without formal qualifications but with relevant experience are encouraged to apply. What can I do after completing this course? Many of our students have progressed onto postgraduate courses at locally universities. These have been in a variety of subjects including Occupational Therapy and Public Health. Once you have graduated you will have a full Honours Degree, many of our student used the knowledge and skills they have learnt to change careers and take up management positions within the industry.
In 2024 we were awarded an exceptional 94% National Student Survey (NSS) rating. Every university in the UK takes part in the NSS, as do many colleges.
