WHY THIS PROGRAMME
PROGRAMME STRUCTURE Courses are delivered through a combination of lecture and seminar sessions which encourage practitioners to reflect on their experiences and to critically engage with theory, research, policy and practice. The diverse student population (home and international students who are class teachers from early years to secondary level, special education professionals, head teachers, education administrators, Higher Education lecturers) creates rich learning environments where we aim to create an inclusive ethos, in which collaboration, peer and active learning play a key role.
Full-time students are expected to complete their degree (180 credits) in 1 year and to select the day courses (SM01).
Part-time students can be enrolled in 3 different routes (which can build on one another):
Core courses Evolving Concept Of Inclusive Education The Learner And The Curriculum (DLS) Introduction To Educational And Social Research Modern Educational Thought Practitioner Enquiry; Developing Inclusive Pedagogy
The programme runs in different modalities, it is important that you select the option that is most appropriate for your situation (SM01 = day, SM02 = evening, SM03 = distance). All course codes should be added:
