As organisations are becoming increasingly complex, the role of human resource management has never been more vital. In this degree, you’ll study the factors that shape the way people work, and the skills you’ll need to become a great manager.

You will to combine your studies of management with a specialist focus on organisational studies. This allows you to acquire a wide range of critical and analytical skills, along with a range of communication and team-working skills, which will be directly transferable to the workplace whatever career you choose to follow.

You will gain a comprehensive grounding in the functions of management and its role in successfully managing people and organisations. This is underpinned by critical analysis of the organisational context in which managers and employees work.

In addition all of our business and management degrees are dual accredited with ILM, the UK's leading Leadership and Management Awarding Organisation. This means you can gain ILM's Level 4 Award in Leadership and Management subject to passing the relevant modules.

This means that you will have the option to switch to any of our other business management BA degrees at the end of your first year.
