You will explore issues including diversity and inclusion, and how government policies often contribute to the disenfranchisement of groups in education. Analyse how the education system works, and themes such as changes in social mobility and inequality over time. You will examine these aspects through exposure to a range of exciting ideas and theories from disciplines like sociology, psychology, and philosophy.

In your final year, you will apply the knowledge and skills gained over the course of your degree to specialist case studies and an independent project. You will explore major global challenges, such as A.I. and climate change, and examine how history and education can help address them.
