History

Explore events and people from across the world BA (Hons) History is a three-year degree in which you will study the past from the medieval period to the present day. You will also gain the opportunity to develop different approaches to history including political history, military history, social history and many other variations.

Our students learn from lectures, seminars, prestigious guest speakers and study visits to the internationally recognized local heritage industry. Each year you develop your knowledge and skills so that in your final year you will not only study your modules but undertake your own research dissertation.
