About this course

BPS-accredited MSc in Health Psychology is specifically designed for graduate psychologists who wish to go on to becoming registered Health Psychologists with the HCPC. Our Health Psychology course combines classroom teaching, individual study and practical work in statistics, a supervised research project and a 100-hour health-based clinical placement.

    Teaching

    You’ll learn through a mixture of lectures, seminars, practical skills workshops, and a placement opportunity.

    The course is taught by leading academics from King’s, many with a research focus on treatments for patients with long term psychological conditions. Some of our teaching team are academic psychologists, and others are working clinically. You’ll benefit from the huge amount of experience within the faculty.

    We also bring in experts from other areas to lecture on specialist topics throughout the year.
