About this course

In the Graphic Design pathway, you will have the opportunity to gain practical skills in graphic design, including layout, typography, colour theory, and digital tools, while learning how to create effective branding and visual communication projects. As a result of completing this pathway, you w ill have a HNC Graphic Design (Level 4), and the opportunity to progress onto and achieve a HND in Graphic Design (Level 5). You will learn in a dynamic and creative environment, guided by experienced tutors who are industry professionals. Through a combination of practical workshops, technical demonstrations, and theoretical sessions, students develop their skills while building a professional portfolio of work. Regular critique sessions, guest lectures, and industry visits ensure students are connected to the realities of the creative sector and prepared for their next steps. The course also includes field trips to galleries, exhibitions, and creative hubs and has been shaped by our partners such as Tate Liverpool and National Museums Liverpool.
