German at Aberdeen is rated 'Excellent' in the Teaching and Quality Assessment and Mathematics is highly rated for research in Pure and Applied areas.

German for Beginners provides an intensive introduction to the German language for students with no previous knowledge of German, or with qualifications beneath Higher or A Level standard.

The third year of the programme is spent in a German speaking country.
