Geopolitics, Resources and Territory
King's College London, University of LondonGeopolitics, Resources and Territory MA is a postgraduate degree at King's College London, University of London, based in London, taught full-time over 1 year.
About this course
Our Geopolitics, Resources and Territory MA is a unique multidisciplinary programme that focuses on the territorial and resource-related aspects of inter-state relations. The programme replaces and expands upon our long-established and highly successful Geopolitics, Territory and Security MA (1997‒2020) to critically examine resource contestation in addition to disputes over borders and territory. You will explore geopolitical and political geographic analysis contextualised within the wider social sciences, and the relevant aspects of international law.
These approaches will be examined in the context of topical issues such as water conflicts, to understand the creation and maintenance of international boundaries, borders at various scales and the factors driving contemporary territorial disputes including those relating to the use of scarce natural resources.
