About this course

Unlock key language skills for use in a wide range of international fields including diplomacy, business and more. On our French and Russian course, you'll engage with diverse literary, philosophical, and historical traditions from Europe and beyond.

With this intercultural degree, you will become fluent in two languages from two different families – Romance and Slavic – a cognitive challenge which will enhance your problem-solving skills and global perspective. During your Year Abroad, you will study, work or teach at one of our partner institutions to improve your language proficiency and establish valuable relationships for your future career.

  • Fiction in Place of A Public Sphere: The Golden Age of the Russian Novel, from Pushkin to Tolstoy
