What is the course about?
As with most Foundation Degrees, the course is primarily for people who are currently working in a related field who wish to gain a higher level qualification in recognition of their skills and knowledge or who would like to build on existing expertise. It is anticipated that a portion of the course will be linked to work-based learning or to work place simulations.

How is the course assessed?
Each unit of the Foundation Degree comes with assignment work that you would predominantly do in your own time. Some units include tests and exams as well as written assignments. Once your assignments have been marked you will achieve either a pass, merit or distinction grade for each assignment and subsequently the unit.
