What you'll study Are you interested in fashion Photography, Film and Digital Promotion? Do you want to learn more about how to create interesting and engaging content based on what you love about culture in Fashion? Maybe you are new to Fashion as a discipline but are a keen creative who wants to learn more skills and develop a professional approach? This pathway will help you to acquire the academic, practical, and commercial skills you need to pursue a career in the fashion industry. At Level 4 you will learn core and transferable skills in styling, digital design, image communication, trend forecasting, consumer analysis and visual research - then build on this by applying your learning to collaborative industry-led briefs. Specialist Promotion and Imaging modules will be introduced at Level 5, researching, developing and pitching creative campaigns for clients, photography-focused learning with high-specification cameras and digital analysis and interpretation that focuses on understanding messaging within the fashion industry. You will learn visual analysis theory, explore specialist software, and have access to and use specialist camera equipment. Fashion Photography helps you refine your technical and creative skills by organising and completing on-location and studio shoots. Fashion Promotion: Professional Practice will focus on working for the ‘client’ and how to design ideas that are successful in conveying strong and convincing messages. At level 6, it’s the opportunity to reflect on your journey and focus on your passion and incentives. You will work with external clients and design your own briefs to bring your studies to the next level that will prepare you for industry.
