Fashion Communication

Behind every great fashion house is a team of top communicators. Marketing, PR, styling and trend prediction fuels the £26 billion British fashion industry. Our BA (Hons) Fashion Communication course will help you become a part of it. On this course, you’ll gain practical skills and explore the thinking behind fashion communication. You’ll create photography and film, and develop visual identities using the latest creative software. We’ll also teach you the theory behind everything from building campaigns for brands to freelancing. The course focuses on contemporary and future-thinking media practice, digital technology, and developing conceptual strategies when answering a brief. We’ll encourage you to develop your own personal brand identity within your work, encouraging a ‘self as brand’ philosophy, whilst at the same time speaking directly to the fast-paced, diverse world of branding and communication for fashion and related industries.

What you will learn BA (Hons) Fashion Communication recognises the uniqueness of the individual whilst embedding the collaborative aspects of academic engagement and creative risk taking in the fashion branding and communication arena.
