What you'll study This event management course will explore the factors that impact today’s events management industry and will build your understanding of consumer behaviour. A combination of academic insight and practical case studies will prepare you to plan and organise events, from music festivals to conferences, integrating all areas of event management. While you study, you will have the opportunity to experience the industry first-hand via work accreditation or through part-time work opportunities. With famous London event spaces such as Wembley Stadium and the Hammersmith Apollo nearby, you will be well-placed to experience some of the biggest events in the country. The foundation year course is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to continue onto your Honours degree. You will study a range of subjects that will underpin your future study and also gain valuable experience of university life, with full access to campus facilities. Successful completion of the year allows you to progress straight onto Level 4 of this course.
