About this course

Throughout the course you will develop: •the theoretical and practical knowledge and skills required to equip you for a variety of roles in the equine industry •knowledge of nutrition, fitness, anatomy and physiology, equine selection and preparation of horses for competitions •practical business skills through modules such as Equine Facility Management and Yard Management •transferable skills such as IT skills and teamwork. Students will also undertake early morning and weekend yard duties as part of the course.

Upon successful completion of this course students may apply to join Year 2 of HND Equine Studies.
